Cake travels on Mull

I think Alison has outdone herself this time. This prolific cake lover recently travelled to the Isle of Mull, the second largest island of the Inner Hebrides, off the west coast of Scotland.

She called in the Pennyghael Stores for a butterscotch loaf cake, but held off tucking into it until they got to Tobermory, the largest town on Mull.

Half of the cake made it all the way to the Glengorm standing stones, where Alison captured one of the most surreal and dramatic cakes with a view I have seen.

Those who have submitted photos to this site know that it can be awkward when you have an audience watching you as you attempt to balance your cake and take the photo. At the standing stones it was shaggy Scottish gawkers keeping an eye on proceedings.

Thanks, Alison! Standing stones + loaf cake + staring highland cow = awesome.
