Carrot Cake in Cromer

Drumroll please…it’s our first cake with a view from England! Free squeezes to Victoria for this photo of carrot cake with a view of Cromer Pier (built in 1901, but there has been a pier or jetty in Cromer since 1391!) on the North Norfolk Coast.

The cake is from the nearby Waverley Cake Shop, and Victoria reports that they cut their cakes into “mahoooosive slices.”

“I had to cut mine in half to fit it onto the plate, and into a sandwich box to take down to the beach!” Sounds like our kind of cake. And a view to match!

A big fork-full of thanks to Victoria, who can be found blogging here and tweeting here, often about cake (shock!)
