I post this photo as the wonderful LeeAnn of Lion Art Creations is travelling to Iona, a small island in the Inner Hebrides off the western coast of Scotland, where she will be living and volunteering for six months.

On the way she spent a night in Oban, where she picked up this sweet citrus crunch cake in the Dolce Vita cafe. It sits wrapped safely in its container, waiting to be devoured among perfect surroundings of Oban’s harbour.

LeeAnn is at the start of what will no doubt be a glorious adventure. Perhaps if we’re lucky we’ll get an Iona cake with a view. Fingers crossed!
