A meringue in Skipness

The lovely Alison recently found her way to Skipness, the north westerley most point of Kintyre, with a gorgeous clear view over to the the Isle of Arran. Not only does the wee Skipness shop/post office sell all the necessities one could need for a day out, they also stock some quite dreamy meringues.

Once the wind picked up however Alison was forced to take aggresive action against the meringue, employing the always useful “thumb crush” in order to keep it in place.

Thank you, Alison! Clinging fervently to a meringue has never looked so awesome.
