If you aren’t yet following @harbourhussy on Twitter, you are missing out on some wonderfully entertaining banter, along with regular food photos that will have you swooning in your chair.
As a baker in Aberdeenshire, Lisa makes more than 10,000 scones a year (five varieties of delicious). During a break from all that doughy goodness , she has taken time to send this photo of a big, fat Victoria Sponge, with a view of Finzean (means “fair place”) in West Aberdeenshire, in front of a hill called The Mither Tap. For more dreamy photos of this area, check out the site for the Finzean Estate.
Mmmmm…lovely green hills and giant sponge. What could be better? Quick, someone get me a cup of tea.
Thanks, Lisa! Now how well do scones travel in the post?
